Planning Commission Meeting Dates for 2025
The Watersmeet Planning Commission has set the meeting dates for 2025 to the 2nd Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Watersmeet Community Center.

Planning Commission to Review Zoning Ordinance ~ Updated 8/17/24
The Watersmeet Planning Commission has adopted the task to review the current Zoning Ordinance, page by page to make revisions to clarify the ordinance. A draft document is being kept tracking all proposed changes and will be updated after each Planning Commission meeting.
When a sufficient number of edits are ready, a public hearing will be held for the edits. The draft will then be forwarded to the Board of Trustees for request for approval and adoption.
The Planning Commission invites the public to comment on the proposed changes by attending a meeting, mailing a letter or emailing the Board liaison at trustee1@watersmeet.us.
Planning Survey Results
The Planning Commission survey has been completed, and the results are now available for public review. If there are any questions or comments, please contact trustee1@watersmeet.us
Coming Soon: Short-Term Rental Information
The Planning Commission is reviewing past records to create a comprehensive list of pending and approved short-term rental permits and applications. Look for this information to be posted in late August or early September.
