World Down Syndrome Day March 21st

The Lac Vieux Desert Police Department has lit up their building with blue and yellow lights in support of World Down Syndrome Day on March 21.
The 21st day of the 3rd month was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication of the 21st chromosome which causes down syndrome.
Don’t forget to wear blue and yellow and rock your colorful/mismatched socks on Friday, March 21, to help us raise awareness and celebrate World Down Syndrome Day!!
